This morning, I had the “honour” of helping a good friend with his fundraising campaign – but not all was as would have been expected photographing a 24hr Golf Challenge.
Four Golfers, all members at Deanwood Golf Course in Newbury, Berkshire – John Bowness, Marc Gudgeon, Mark Brown and Kevin Holloway all decided to raise money for Newbury and District Cancer Care Trust, having all lost people they cared for to cancer.
A Twist in the Tale
A simple 24 hour Golf Challenge around the beautiful Deanwood Golf Course, took an unusual twist when another member pledged to donate a superb £300 if they four played one of the holes naked. And yes you guessed right – I was called in to provide honest proof through our photographs that this was accomplished – and in true Brit style at 5.30am this morning.
I’m kind of pleased to say that the guys all completed this extra challenge, and whilst there is a photo above the rest of their photos will never see the light of day for very good reason.
