We want you to enjoy the experience of having a portrait session with us from the very moment of booking your shoot. Your session will be booked to suit you and your lifestyle. The studio is open Monday through to Saturday and can be booked for daytime or evening sessions, when ever suits you.
Part 1 – Planning your shoot
We need to get to know and understand you, in order to give you the right portrait experience for you, so we ask you to complete a very brief portrait session planner. This gives us a great insight into your characters, personalities and interests meaning we can gear the session to personalise it to you.
We can plan for the right location – either in our Newbury Studio or your preferred location, but also to reflect things like hobbies, what you do for a living, favourite music, how you relax etc. We send this session planner out with your portrait session voucher, but you can also download it here.
Part 2 – The Shoot itself
The photo sessions are normally about an hour, so we can try lots of different things, but importantly they are fun throughout. We ensure everyone is relaxed and enjoys themselves. No heavy posing or fake smiling, just you all being relaxed and comfortable together, lots of natural smiles and laughter.
Part 3 – The digital part…
After the session the editing process and creative work begins, whilst keeping the natural feel of the pictures this is where our careful magic turns the photographs taken into beautiful final images. This work normally takes about a week – the patience will be worth it, then you are invited back for your viewing.
Part 4 – The Viewing
About a week after your shoot, you are invited back to the studio for your viewing evening. It’s a fun relaxed viewing with your images projected on to the large screen to music. There is no heavy sales trap, its a great experience so bring the family, it will enable you to discuss the images and help to make your selections from our wide range of products and the viewing evening exclusive collections that carry savings of upto 60%. There is a children’s play area in case you cant avoid bringing them along – this stops them getting bored and frustrated.
Lastly Part 5 – The products
However you have chosen to own your images you will be truely delighted with the quality and impact they will have as final products. Their vibrancy and energy will compliment and add to any home.
Payment Options
At no point will there be any pressure on any of our clients to purchase. We will not sell to you, we are comfortable that our images will do that enough. It’s important to us that our clients are happy with their images and their purchases – not resenting the purchase in any way.
In order to ensure this is the case, we have a very carefully put together pricelist, with many varying options to suit everyone. There are also many payment options, we don’t offer credit terms as we don’t want people risking any kind of debt over their images.
