Don’t worry to much about clothing, but it is worth bearing it in mind. Below are some simple guidlines which should help:
Infants– babies are so beautiful all on their own, but if you prefer some clothing, all they need is a soft, solid coloured all in one, some soft blankies and maybe a few sweet little beanies to keep their heads warm. No need for fancy clothes, ribbons, bows or shiny shoes.
Kids and toddlers– you should dress toddlers and older children in fun clothing that lets them be kids. In cold weather, try some chunky, colourful knit hats, sweaters and scarves. For the whimsical portrait that shows your child’s playful side, try tutus, colourful rubber rain boots and umbrellas, fun superhero capes, wide brimmed hats, cool cowboy boots…you get the picture. Put all your accessories in a box and I’ll help you sort through them.
Older children and adults– be relaxed and comfortable and wear your favourites items, bright and colourful works well so don’t feel like it all has to be white t-shirts and dull colours. Having said that, be aware of what each other is wearing to compliment rather than clash.
