Immediately after the ceremony, we tend to stand back, letting all of your family and guests congratulate you, these make for some wonderful candid and natural moments prior to the Group Photos. There will be the inevitable group shots, possibly the main large group shots and undoubtedly some smaller specific group shots that we will have discussed and planned before hand, but we like to keep these to as few as possible and to be moved through swiftly so you and your guests don’t feel like you’re are stood there for ages getting bored. It is also a great time for a confetti shot should you wish to have one, and we make this a lot of fun.

If indeed you are then moving on to another venue for your reception, it can work nicely to invite your guests to leave first. We can then remain for 5 minutes or so and take some lovely photographs of the new bride and groom at your ceremony location or within its grounds.
By doing it this way, it becomes more private and a bit more intimate, then once done gives you some time to spend together in peace and quiet before heading to your wedding reception – arriving last and being traditionally welcomed by your guests, to enjoy another glass of champagne.
