Your Wedding Reception

From this point onwards, our Documentary style of photography really comes into its own, capturing lots of candid, natural moments of you and your guests enjoying the afternoon with maybe a Pimms or two.

Once you have had a good amount of time with your guests, and nearing the time that guests are seated for the Wedding Breakfast, we tend to take you a quiet a private walk. This little breather for you, maybe just 10-15 minutes, gives us the chance to get some beautiful portraits of you together – but without taking you away from the celebrations for too long and leaving the guests missing you.

This also gives you a lovely moment to catch your breath and talk to each other and reflect on the day so far. There are no heavy or fake poses and virtually no smiling at the camera, these photographs are just relaxed, close and intimate portraits of you both on your wedding day.

The Wedding Breakfast Room

At some point during the afternoon reception, we tend to break away from the celebrations to photograph the room in its decorated splendour, before the guests are allowed in and trash it. These are also very important small details that add depth to the wedding images, most of all these are the little details that tend to slip the mind over the years, and you’ll have spent many an hour planning the decor of the room.
